Duesenberg "INDIANAPOLIS" T-shirt

$ 30.00

This new, original design celebrates Duesenberg's prowess at the Indianapolis 500 mile race.

Duesenberg claimed three victories at the Indianapolis 500, marking its dominance in early American racing. In 1922, Jimmy Murphy drove car #12, a Duesenberg equipped with a straight-eight engine, to become the first American to win in an American car. In 1924, L.L. Corum and Joe Boyer shared driving duties in car #15, also a Duesenberg, with Boyer taking over mid-race and sealing the win. The final triumph came in 1927 when George Souders piloted car #12 to victory, showcasing Duesenberg’s engineering excellence as they transitioned to luxury road cars.
