There was a time when the golden age of racing roared through Long Island, and Bridgehampton was its crown jewel. Once a temple of speed, the Bridgehampton Circuit was host to legends like Stirling Moss, Phil Hill, Dan Gurney, Mario Andretti, and Bruce McLaren. It was a fast, undulating course, where every crest was a leap of faith and every corner was a test of nerve.
For this shirt, I have created a new original illustration celebrating the famous bridge at The Bridge... And as I do for all of these celebrations of history, I have scoured the archives for materials from the golden age, and resampled and recreated based on those original elements. Check out the "Map Tee", also. A back print shirt with a logo on the left chest.
My goal for this collection is to both tell the story and celebrate history, but also create fashionable apparel for car guys (and gals) that is art on a shirt, at another level than simply automotive "slogan wear".
Soft, premium, lightweight shirt material and cut compares to tees by Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein. Distress printed in vintage hues of vintage blue, red, and white, on a premium 60/40 blend Cotton/Poly heather t-shirt.
