From the moment I discovered the archival photo years ago, I knew that I would someday illustrate this scene. On May 31, 1959, at the Santa Barbara Road Races, a Porsche 356 A Carrera #77 driven by privateer Ron O’Dell pushed through a competitive E Production field to finish 2nd in class—sharing tarmac with the likes of Ken Miles and Richie Ginther.
This new "Art Shirt" captures this little known but deeply authentic moment in West Coast SCCA racing.
Printed on our highest quality SUPER-soft sueded white tee. 4.2-oz. 30 singles for extreme softness.
