This shirt celebrates the first car ever to wear the letters P O R S C H E on it's nose – The Type 64. It was created for the Berlin-Rome 1,500KM Race to be held in September of 1939 – a race that would never occur. Despite that, the car raced many times from 1939 into the 1950's, even claiming a win in 1951. It was owned and driven by both Prof. Dr. h.c. Ferdinand Porsche and his son Ferry, and clearly laid the foundation for Porsche for years to come, both in design and engineering – with a variation of the silhouette still evident in the 911 today.
Soft, lightweight shirt material and cut compares to a premium tee by Ralph Lauren or Banana Republic. Distress printed in Antique Gray on a premium 100% combed cotton Dark Gray t-shirt.
