When I came across this image in the Revs Institute archives, I immediately wanted to illustrate it. It perfectly captures "A good day at Laguna Seca" in the golden years of sports car racing in America.
I have no backstory to this image. I don't know who the drivers were. It's just so dramatic. Nowhere but Laguna Seca could you vertically stack a couple cars and have it make any kind of visual sense. But here it makes perfect sense, and puts you in the moment.
Ships in a temporary mat and crystal clear sleeve, to be mounted and framed to your taste.
