"Riverside Raceway 1958" T-shirt

Introducing an ALL NEW original design celebrating Riverside Raceway, and the 1958 Sports Car Grand Prix.

For this series of designs, I dig through the archives of programs, tickets, promotional material, and photographs. My goal with these shirts is to not only celebrate automotive icons and history, but to create fashionable apparel that you can dress up or down.

For Riverside, I pulled from the official program design, newspaper announcements, and recap articles, then created an original art from an archival photo of Chuck Daigh's victory in the No. 5 Scarab Mk II-Chevrolet. Daigh started from pole position and completed 62 laps, covering 203.1 miles, to win the race overall. Dan Gurney finished second in the equally stunning Ferrari 375 plus.

Soft, premium, lightweight shirt material and cut compares to tees by Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein. Distress printed in vintage hues of vintage blue, red, and white, on a premium 60/40 blend Cotton/Poly heather gray t-shirt.
